Paul Harrington, President and CEO, Reebok Brand

Paul Harrington

Paul Harrington is president and CEO of Reebok International Ltd (RIL). Appointed to this position in January 2006, he is responsible for the Reebok brand’s business around the world, and reports directly to Herbert Hainer, chairman and CEO of the adidas Group.

Prior to his appointment, Paul was senior vice president, global operations and chief supply chain officer of Reebok, where he was responsible for supply chain operations across all RIL businesses including all development, manufacturing, distribution, customer service, MIS and retail operations, as well as all global operations for the Company. In addition, in November 2004, Paul took on the additional role of overseeing Reebok’s Global Retail division as well as sales and marketing for the Europe and Asia Pacific regions. In August 2005, Paul’s role was expanded further, with the addition of North America sales and marketing to his responsibilities.

Paul first joined the RIL family in November 1994 as director of strategic planning. In 1995, he was appointed director of Reebok global footwear forecasting and inventory management. In 1998, Paul was promoted to vice president of Reebok global planning and logistics. In July 2000, Paul was named senior vice president of the RIL supply chain, overseeing manufacturing, logistics, inventory management, distribution and customer service for Reebok, the Rockport Company and Ralph Lauren Footwear.

Paul left the company in 2002 to take a position at Levi Strauss & Co., where he helped to transform the way the company developed and sourced its products. While there, he led the implementation of a global sourcing group, creating regional supply chain organizations focused on customer service and cash flow. He also completed Levi Strauss’ shift from company owned-and-operated manufacturing in North America to contract sourcing. He returned to Reebok in March 2004.

Before joining Reebok, Paul served as manager of strategic planning for Ford Motor Company. From 1990 to 1994, he was responsible for car and truck cycle planning, vehicle program management and capital investment spending.

Prior to returning to graduate school in 1989, Paul was assistant vice president at Shawmut Bank of Boston, where he was responsible for international banking relationships and mid-market commercial lending.

Paul received his B.A. degree in 1984 from Clark University and went on to earn his M.B.A. from Babson College in 1990. He resides in Scituate, Massachusetts with his wife, Nancy, and their twin daughters Elizabeth and Grace and son Daniel.
