REEBOK LAUNCHES ‘YOUR REEBOK’ iPhone APP – THE WORLD’S FIRST SHOE CUSTOMISATION APP FOR MOBILE PHONES
Sneaker freaks across the US & UK will be the first in the world to customise a shoe and buy it through innovative new iPhone application from Reebok
CANTON, MA (May 13, 2009) -- Beginning today, sneaker freaks in the US and UK will be the first in the world to experience one of the most innovative iPhone applications to date – Your Reebok. For the first time, they can fully customise, and have the option to buy, a pair of Reebok shoes through the Your Reebok application. The groundbreaking app combines the revolutionary iPhone features such as touch, motion and GPS to create a truly engaging consumer experience not seen before on mobile.
The ‘first of its kind’ application offers three of Reebok’s most iconic silhouettes: The Freestyle, The Classic Leather and the The Ventilator. The designer can change up to 23 different areas of the shoe with a choice of 19 colours, four material options and adding personalised text. The fully customised shoes range from £80 to £110 depending on the shoe, materials & optional extras chosen.
To download the application, simply visit the iTunes App Store and search for ‘Your Reebok’.
In another unique move, the designs can either be shared with friends or the whole world direct from the application. Friends will be sent an e-mail link to your design but to go one-step further simply select ‘share with the world’ and the design will be geo-tagged and added to the Your Reebok global community map. From here all the other shared designs can be viewed and either bought or used as a canvas for customisation.

Your Reebok launches initially in the US and UK but the service will go live in Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, Austria & Ireland in the coming months.
